REVIEW NOTES

3.25/5* 10 months age. Medium strength, med body, med finish. Toast, cereal, nutmeg, cedar, cinnamon, some stone fruit and with white pepper and bakers spice retro. Much less dark noted than San Andres release but retrohale definitely brings out the stronger flavors. Also not as complex and smoother with emphasis on a more consistent, harmonious balance and medium flavor blend. Pairing with Ardbeg Uigeadail was abit overwhelmed but did bring out salted nut and caramel components not noticeable otherwise. Excellent construction ala Titan de Bronze but faster smoke than San Andres proly due to less dense pack even though similarly firm in the hand. Good anytime smoke but priced abit high when compared to other, more complex and transitional medium blends, like Warped, Crowned Heads, or Illusione.
