REVIEW NOTES

This cigar has been in the humidor since last summer and a hot afternoon seemed to be just the time to give it a try. The Spice was the first of the Ambrosia line from Drew Estates and its definitely a 'viva la difference' " type of cigar. The Sumatra wrapper is infused with some type of aromatics that give it a clove aroma. Not overwhelming, but you know its there. The construction looked near perfect and the burn performance bore that out ( see http://www.twitpic.com/5lm3no). The aroma of the smoke was very aromatic; clove, cedar and spice and those flavors came through as well. Don't be in a hurry when smoking this one. It didn't get bitter on me, but the size and flavor differences were worth going slow. Give it a try to change up the norm.
